Notes on a "new year"

 Even if it is just another day,

labeling it with the start of a set of numbers

makes it sound so different, so hopeful.

It is a wonder that just by doing that, we can feel that we are facing a new

 --hmmm well, something.

It's amazing how the mind and feelings respond to numerical suggestions,

in such a hopeful note!

Remember, it is just another day -

the new year is a tomorrow we experience day in and day out.

Let us make January 1, 2012 a special tomorrow

and like every tomorrow, know what we Hope -

Romans 5:2 !
